About the Role

University Partners seeks an experienced Leasing Consultant to join our team in a part-time capacity. This position is ideal for individuals who possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for sales and customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for prospective residents, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless leasing experience.
  • Effectively market and lease apartments, adhering to occupancy goals and Fair Housing standards.
  • Conduct outside marketing activities under the guidance of senior management.
  • Process applications, credit checks, and background verifications, maintaining accurate records and communicating with applicants.
  • Collaborate with maintenance staff to address resident requests and issues.
  • Promote annual renewal campaigns and manage lease renewals, ensuring timely completion of lease documents.

We estimate that this role will pay approximately $45,000-$55,000 per year, based on industry standards and the required level of experience.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; or High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel;
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and follow directions from supervisors.
Working Environment

This part-time position requires the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed. The successful candidate must be able to travel locally and provide exceptional customer service in a face-to-face setting.
