Salary:The salary for this role is £28,000-£32,000 per annum, depending on experience, based on the location in London.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced storyteller to join our team as a Homeless Voices Ambassador. In this role, you will work closely with individuals experiencing homelessness to share their stories and bring attention to the issues surrounding homelessness.
You will be responsible for building relationships with crisis guests and members with lived experience of homelessness, providing them with information to make informed decisions about sharing their stories, and supporting them through the process. You will also work with them to create engaging content packages that may include photos, videos, or written pieces.
As part of our team, you will contribute to planning and delivering storytelling initiatives during our Crisis at Christmas services. Your expertise will be invaluable in editing, reviewing, and approving content to ensure it is safe and ethical.

Requirements- A creative approach to storytelling with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse groups of people.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to craft compelling stories.
- Experience in interviewing people and working with sensitive topics.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and GDPR principles with a focus on ensuring processes are followed to share stories safely and ethically.
