About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our team at Kings Camps in Northampton. As a Sports Coach, you will be responsible for delivering high-energy, fun, and inclusive sports sessions to children aged 5-17 years.

You will work closely with our Camp Manager and a team of like-minded individuals to create a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and develop new skills. Your primary focus will be on delivering engaging and interactive sports sessions that cater to the needs and abilities of all children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality sports sessions to children aged 5-17 years
  • Work closely with the Camp Manager and team to ensure a safe and supportive environment
  • Develop and implement engaging and interactive sports sessions
  • Supervise children during lunch breaks and swimming sessions
  • Record any incidents or accidents

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 6 months' experience working with children from 5-17 years
  • At least 3 months' experience coaching a sport or active games
  • Vibrant, resilient, and team player
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Level 2 or higher qualification in Primary or Secondary Teaching, Sports Coaching, or Physical Education
  • Paediatric First Aid (training opportunities available)
