Job Description:

This role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Social Services Practitioner to join our team in Harrow. The position involves working as part of the Adult Locality Team, providing support to adults and their families, assessing risk, and promoting independence.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of social care principles, including person-centred approaches and critical reflection. They will be experienced in managing complex casework, ensuring compliance with health and safety policies, and promoting a positive health and safety culture.

The salary for this position is estimated to be between £32,000 and £42,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. We offer a range of benefits, including annual online training on EDI and compliance, to ensure a fair and thorough selection process.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide strength-based support to adults and their families.
    • Evaluate risk and need, promoting independence in accordance with agreed criteria and divisional policies.
  • Requirements:
    • Social work qualification with registration with Social Work England.
    • Experience in managing social work caseloads and supervising others.
    • Knowledge of children's health and social care systems, agencies, and relevant legislation.
