Academic Physics Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Academic Physics Support Specialist to work with secondary schools in Camden. As a Graduate Physics Tutor, you will provide one-to-one and small group support to students, helping them develop confidence and comprehension in Physics.
About the RoleYou will collaborate with the school's Science department to deliver targeted support, assist with exam preparation, and adapt your teaching methods to suit each student's learning style. This role is ideal for recent Physics graduates eager to explore a career in education or make a real difference by supporting students' understanding of Physics.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with students to develop their Physics skills
- Collaborate with the school's Science department to deliver targeted support
- Assist with exam preparation and adapt teaching methods to suit each student's learning style
- A degree in Physics (2:1 or above preferred)
- Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching
- Previous tutoring experience is beneficial but not essential
- Commitment to helping students reach their potential
- Gain valuable classroom experience
- Work with experienced teachers and support staff
- Term-time only, offering a great work-life balance
