Visitor Centre Manager

We are seeking an experienced Visitor Centre Manager to join our team at the Land of Oak and Iron Heritage Centre in Winlaton Mill, Gateshead. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the daily management of our Heritage Visitor Centre and Cafe, leading a team of staff and volunteers to ensure a high-quality, professional, and profitable business.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Heritage Visitor Centre and Cafe, including catering, hospitality, events, and resource management.
- Lead and motivate a successful team to deliver excellent customer service and achieve business objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve visitor numbers, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with the Groundwork NE & Cumbria team to ensure alignment with our charitable objectives and values.
We are looking for a customer-focused and passionate individual with experience in managing a successful visitor centre, including provision of catering, hospitality, events, and resource management. You will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional results.
