Job Title: Catering Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Beechfield Lodge in Pendleton, Salford. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality catering service to our residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met and their experience is enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve meals to residents, adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety procedures.
  • Minimize food waste and ensure efficient use of kitchen equipment.
  • Escalate any concerns or issues to the Chef Manager.
Requirements:
  • Level 2 food safety certificate.
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures, including COSHH.
  • Previous catering experience and basic food safety knowledge.
  • Experience working with older people.
Desirable Skills:
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Flexibility to work in a pressured environment.
  • Teamwork and communication skills.
