Job Title: Contract Project Lead

Dales Marine Services is a leading provider of ship repair, fabrication, and engineering services to the offshore and onshore oil industry.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Project Lead to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
  • Develop and manage project plans, including resource allocation and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and fabrication.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Manage project budgets, including cost estimation and control.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including project status, timelines, and budgets.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the ship repair and fabrication industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong technical knowledge of ship repair, fabrication, and engineering principles.
