Lead Manufacturing Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Lead Manufacturing Engineer to join our R&D team at Redline Group Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity for a career-driven individual to take on a leadership role and contribute to the development of electro-mechanical products for harsh environments.

About the Role

As a Lead Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development of optical sensing systems from concept definition to production. This includes managing a team, developing processes and tooling for semi-automated manufacturing, and working with optics, optical packaging, and electronic manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of engineers and technicians to develop and implement manufacturing processes
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and quality control procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new products
  • Implement and maintain a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
Requirements
  • Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on optics and optical packaging
  • Strong technical and practical understanding of manufacturing processes, including welding, brazing, bonding, polishing, and etching
  • Experience with laser light sources and semi-automated manufacturing
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
