As a Quantum Photonics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing integrated photonics within our Quantum Processing Units. Your tasks will include collecting, recording, analyzing, and storing data from these tests, as well as investigating and understanding any deviations from expected results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build integrated photonics test setups to deliver the required photonics test capability.
- Monitor and maintain the performance of photonics fabrication processes, inform simulation, and manage data by collating and reporting measurement results.
- Test the performance of integrated photonics devices against specifications.
- Analyze and visualize measurement data to ensure accurate reporting and decision-making.
Requirements:
You will need a Master's or PhD in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Hands-on experience with optical setups and a basic understanding of wave optics are essential. You should have basic coding skills for measurement automation and data analysis. Experience in integrated photonics characterization is highly desirable.
