Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implementation: Design and implement scalable and secure Linux-based systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • System Administration: Administer and maintain existing Linux systems, including user management, permissions, and access control.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Linux systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and operations, to ensure seamless integration and deployment of Linux-based systems.
  • Security: Ensure the security and integrity of Linux-based systems, implementing best practices and adhering to industry standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Linux system administration, with a strong background in Linux distributions (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat).
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of Linux fundamentals, including file systems, permissions, and process management. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python). Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes). Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Certifications: CompTIA Linux+ or equivalent certification.
