About the Job
We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our IT Team at McCabe & Barton. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Linux systems infrastructure, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of security, efficiency, and reliability.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot complex Linux systems, including RHEL 8.
- Develop and maintain Puppet/Ansible scripts to automate system configuration and deployment.
- Collaborate with the team to plan and implement new systems and technologies.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Linux systems administration, particularly RHEL 8.
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages, such as Bash.
- Experience with Puppet/Ansible and other automation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum, plus benefits package, including bonus, flexible working arrangements, and 1 day per week in Cambridge.
