About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Machinery Calibration Expert to join our team at Finning. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for installing and calibrating heavy machinery systems, providing technical support and assistance to customers, and ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation: Primary resource in providing on-machine installation of Trimble hardware (Base kit) across various OEMs, dealers, and customers.
  • Service: Primary resource in providing maintenance, support call-outs, troubleshooting, and support on SITECH/Trimble equipment.
  • Measure & Calibration / Advisory / Consultation: Resource in calibration/re-calibration of SITECH/Trimble machine control equipment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A demonstrated ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical issues on heavy equipment machines.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to fault-find through knowledge/experience and root cause mechanical/electronics awareness.
  • Familiarity with construction site operations using heavy equipment machine control systems is desired.
  • An IOSH, RAMS, Health & Safety awareness with an up-to-date CSCS card.
Benefits and Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £65,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including 25 days holiday, company pension scheme, healthcare, and short-term incentive plan.
