About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Protection Law Trainee to join our team at IGS | Information Governance Services. As a Data Protection Law Trainee, you will play a key role in helping our clients develop and maintain cutting-edge solutions to remain competitive in the market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide relevant and up-to-date advice on information security matters in any given project.
  • Develop and maintain cutting-edge solutions to help clients remain competitive.
  • Support the Data Protection Consultants in delivering training and communication to key stakeholders.
  • Work with the business to deal effectively with issue management and data protection matters.
  • Maintain compliance with data protection regulations that apply to any of the company's client's businesses.
  • Lead and promote data protection and information security compliance across our client's business.
  • Assist with data subject rights requests.
  • Manage and maintain the company's data protection policies and procedures.
  • Lead data protection by design and conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) where appropriate.
  • Manage personal data breaches.
  • Where appropriate, conduct data protection and information security training.
  • Monitor third party governance risk and compliance.

Requirements
  • An undergraduate degree.

  • Eligible to be able to apply for UK Security Clearance.
