Job Summary:

NCC Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Researcher to join our team. As a Senior Security Researcher, you will be responsible for leading our vulnerability research and exploitation efforts, working closely with our clients to deliver high-quality security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead our vulnerability research and exploitation efforts, identifying and developing new security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with our clients to understand their security needs and develop tailored solutions to address those needs.
  • Develop and maintain our exploit engineering and testing processes to ensure the highest level of reliability and effectiveness.
  • Act as a subject matter expert within the company, mentoring and training other team members on vulnerability research and exploitation techniques.
  • Provide short-notice, time-pressured tactical capability in support of client project work in the domains of reverse engineering, vulnerability research, and exploitation.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in security research, including vulnerability discovery and exploitation.
  • Demonstrate mastery of vulnerability research and exploitation technical competencies.
  • Expertise in reverse engineering for unmanaged and managed languages.
  • Expertise in major programming languages, their vulnerability classes, and exploitation thereof.
  • Ability to understand, research, and exploit unfamiliar instruction sets, programming languages, and platforms.
  • Ability to lead teams and multi-faceted projects effectively.
  • Innovation: Proactively seeks out new security challenges and develops creative solutions.
  • Delivers high-quality work and meets deadlines consistently.
