Job Summary

Pulse Healthcare Ltd is seeking a highly skilled School Health Nurse to join our team. As a School Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing support and advice for a wide range of health needs to children and young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health Assessments: Conduct holistic assessments of children and young people's mental health and wellbeing needs.
  • Mental Health Promotion: Provide mental health promotion, prevention, and early intervention approaches to support children and young people.
  • Health Risk Identification: Carry out health assessments to identify risk-taking behaviors and support children to keep safe.
  • Team Support: Support junior team members in their roles.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN, RN/dipHE or Child Branch) and Specialist Public Health Degree (School Nursing).
  • Training: Level 3 Child Protection Training and Teaching qualification (ENB 997/998, D32/33 or SLAIP).
  • Experience: Recent experience of Community Public Health Nursing and proven leadership/management skills.
