Flawless AI is revolutionizing the film industry with its cutting-edge Gen AI film editing tools. As an Applied Scientist on our 3D Reconstruction and Animation team, you'll collaborate with world-class researchers and scientists to tackle complex problems in deep learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Researchers, Machine Learning Engineers, and Product and Engineering teams to develop scalable, responsible, cinematic quality solutions.
  • Conduct ML model training, benchmarking, testing, and deployment of multi-modal tracking, reconstruction, and animation models.
  • Create productionalized Python code using PyTorch frameworks.
  • Work with 3DMMs and statistical models for training and inference.
  • Work with 2D and 3D image and video for tracking and reconstruction.
Requirements:
  • MS or Ph.D. student in Visual Computing, Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, 3D Vision, or related field with industry or research experience in deep learning and computer vision.
  • Extensive experience with Python, linear algebra, and numerical optimization.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS.
  • Monocular 3D Facial Tracking and Generative models for face reconstruction.
  • Experience with machine learning, deep learning, and modern 2D and 3D Vision.
  • Proficiency in applied research tasks, including maintaining and versioning production code and datasets.
  • Creating metrics and benchmarking, improving the efficiency of the solution.
  • Ability to conduct proactive and independent applied research beyond expectations.
  • Experience with CV tools, such as OpenCV, scikit, numpy, etc.
  • Experience with differentiable rendering pipelines, such as PyTorch3D, or Taichi Graphics.
  • Familiarity with 3DMM and statistical models.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MS (with experience) or Ph.D. in Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, 3D Vision, or related field.
  • Experience developing tools or solutions at scale for multi-modal or audio-driven visual systems in AR/VR or VFX.
  • Experience with C++ or CUDA.
  • Familiarity with Transformer, CNN, and GAN architectures.
  • Published work in top-tier CV and Graphics conferences, such as ICCV, CVPR, SIGGRAPH.
Interview Process:

At Flawless AI, our team and interview process aim to help you showcase your best self. We'll delve into past projects and simulate working together.

Our interview process consists of five rounds over Zoom:

  • 30-45 minute call with our recruiting team to discuss your interests and motivations, as well as the practical details and ensure that Flawless AI would be a good fit for you.
  • 30-45 minute technical screen to discuss Flawless AI and your past work.
  • 1 hour live coding test where you will be presented with 1-2 problems related to landmarked base face 3DMM regression, using Python/PyTorch.
  • 45 minute ML System design interview.
  • 45 minute virtual interview discussing domain depth in AI/ML and deep learning architecture and techniques.

Your Recruiter and hiring manager will be your main point of contact and prepare you for interviews. You'll meet 4 to 5 people from across the business. If we don't give an offer, we'll provide feedback.
