Laboratory Sample Processing Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Sample Processing Technician to join our team at Pharmiweb. As a Laboratory Sample Processing Technician, you will play a critical role in the preparation and processing of laboratory samples.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform sample preparation tasks, including centrifugation, pipetting, and addition of reagents.
- Handle incoming samples from Animal House Operations, Necropsy, and Pharmacology.
- Conduct all work in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including GLP regulations.
- Exercise judgment in the receipt of samples where discrepancies have occurred, highlighting to responsible personnel or resolving as they occur.
- Adapt techniques to new procedures and plan individual workload in collaboration with team members to meet deadlines.
- Schedule multiple assigned tasks and demonstrate effective communication skills and liaison with Technical Leads, Supervisors, Study Directors, and other members of staff.
- Hold a minimum of 5 GCSEs A*-C, including English and Maths.
- Ideal experience in a similar laboratory environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work within company procedures.
- Ability to utilize word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and specialized software on personal computers.
