We're looking for a Retail Team Member to join our team in our Cook Shop in Hove. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring our customers have a remarkable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring every customer feels valued and supported.
  • Offer expert information about our food, including new products, pairing suggestions, and serving ideas.
  • Be proactive in helping customers plan menus and advising on catering for special occasions.
  • Stay up-to-date on our products, including ingredients, production methods, and nutritional information.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming shop environment.
  • Operate the till efficiently and accurately, using our in-store computer system to record sales data.
  • Assist with stock management, including receiving deliveries, placing orders, and conducting stock takes.
  • Support your Shop Manager and colleagues in achieving our shop targets and maintaining a remarkable shop experience.

Requirements:

  • Previous retail or customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating the till.
  • Ability to lift and move stock as required.
