Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mechanic and Diagnostic Specialist to join our team at Halfords Group PLC. This is a challenging and rewarding full-time position offering a competitive salary of £30,000 - £33,000 per annum, plus a bonus scheme with an average uncapped bonus of £4,800 per year.
About the Role
As a Mechanic and Diagnostic Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic work and carrying out complex repairs and replacements on light vehicles. You will work closely with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing and repairing complex issues with light vehicles
- Carrying out routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and brake pad replacements
- Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification, and hold a full driver's licence with no more than 9 points. You should have experience working as a technician or mechanic, with a proven track record of completing complex repairs and diagnoses.
