Job Summary

Aberdeenshire Co is seeking a dedicated Youth and Family Advocate to provide emotional and practical support to children and families in our local community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing personalized support plans to empower families to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct thorough assessments of family needs and develop tailored support plans to address these needs.
  2. Build strong relationships with families, communities, and other stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and outcomes.
  3. Contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality services that meet the needs of our clients.
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, such as social work or counseling.
  • Proven ability to work in a regulated environment, prioritizing the safety and well-being of children and protected adults.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse groups.
