About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at a children's home in the Nuneaton area. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in children's residential care and a Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce.

The home specializes in working with young people who display Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). The Deputy Manager will be responsible for supporting the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, including managing staff, ensuring the home is compliant with staffing requirements, and providing support to young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
  • Manage staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Ensure the home is compliant with staffing requirements
  • Provide support to young people, including managing behaviours that challenge
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure the best outcomes for young people
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in children's residential care
  • Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce
  • Aged 18 or over
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Flexibility to work what is needed to ensure the home is compliant with staffing
