Supporting Students with Special Educational Needs

We are seeking a caring and supportive individual to fill this vital role as a SEN Teaching Assistant. Working closely with class teachers and therapy teams, you will help students with special educational needs achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

This challenging yet rewarding position requires the ability to adapt to different teaching approaches and strategies while maintaining effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues.

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a willingness to learn and participate in all aspects of the job, and be comfortable working in environments where students may require personal care, hoisting, or medication.

Key Requirements
  • Strong understanding of the requirements to support pupils with additional needs
  • Desirable experience supporting young people with SEN
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching approaches and strategies
