About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Gumboots Nursery and Pre-School, a thriving Early Years setting in East Dulwich. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and education for our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Nursery Manager in the overall management of the nursery, including finance, staffing, health and safety, and team management.
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that meet the needs of our children, promoting their learning and development.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and involving them in nursery life.
  • Maintain high-quality education and care practices, ensuring that our nursery meets the needs of all children.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £35,117 for full-time, 40 hours per week over 5 days, Monday to Friday.
  • A generous pension scheme, with the company contributing 7% and you contributing 1%.

Requirements
