Java Technical Architect Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Technical Architect to join our team at LSA Recruit in Newbury, UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain technical requirements and specifications for software systems.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure architecture and design align with best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable software solutions.
  • Assess and mitigate technical debt, ensuring software development meets design and architectural guidelines.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, incorporating their needs into organizational policy and program changes.
  • Develop and maintain technical skills in Java, Struts, Springboot, Hibernate, and other relevant technologies.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Java, Struts, Springboot, Hibernate, and web development.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS), databases (PL/SQL, MSSQL, Mongo), and messaging queues.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Change management certification and experience with large-scale organizational change efforts.
