As a History tutor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and stimulating History lessons across the curriculum catering to Key Stage 3 (Years 7-8) and potentially Key Stage 4 (Years 9-11).

About the Role:
  • Deliver high-quality History lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students reach their full potential.
  • Foster a love of History in students encouraging exploration of the world around them and developing their critical thinking skills.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
  • Contribute to curriculum development ensuring it aligns with the school's vision national requirements and the latest advancements in pedagogy.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the History department and across the school to ensure a cohesive and engaging program.

  • Qualified History teacher with a proven track record of success in engaging students and developing their understanding.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring a love of History in students of all abilities.
