As a Corporate Tax Director, you will be responsible for providing tax advisory services to a broad portfolio of clients, including large corporate organisations and owner-managed businesses.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing relationships and new business opportunities to provide a range of tax and other services.
  • Overall responsibility and accountability for a group of clients, with excellent technical expertise in your field.
  • Leading and managing the relationship with clients, with the aim of developing new business from your current client base and beyond.
  • Encouraging and developing associate directors and other staff members.
  • Ensuring excellent client service while minimising conduct risk.
  • Contributing to the management of your department and/or office if relevant.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong technical leadership and maintaining your technical competence is critical to ensuring clients receive an excellent service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in an engaging and purposeful manner.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify future talent and act as mentor and sponsor.

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • Degree educated.
  • Chartered Accountant and/or Chartered Tax Adviser.
