Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Needs Educator to join our team at Protocol Education.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work with students who have various learning, physical, emotional, and developmental disabilities. They will be responsible for developing and implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement IEPs for students with special needs.
  • Provide differentiated instruction to cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth.
  • Collaborate with educators, specialists, and parents to address student needs.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
  • Support students in developing social skills, independence, and self-advocacy.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Experience working with students with special needs preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Patient, empathetic, and passionate about working with students with special needs.
