Job Description:

We're seeking a Senior Data Engineering Manager to lead our data & analytics engineering team. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with Data Science, Product, and Engineering teams to enable innovative data solutions that improve quality and efficiency of care delivery in hospital-level care at home.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire the UK-based data & analytics engineering team, fostering a positive and productive work environment for self-organisation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage and integrate technologies across cloud and open-source technologies, such as Snowflake, Redshift, dbt, Airflow, NiFi, and Databricks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the company's overall data strategy.
  • Oversee projects focused on data generated during care delivery, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of data solutions.
  • Ensure data is cleaned, processed, harmonized, and curated in alignment with industry standards.
  • Serve as a thought partner to other teams during the ideation and design of new solutions.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3 years management experience, including experience in a matrix environment.
  • Experience in the following technologies: Python, dbt, Airflow, SQL.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, particularly in dynamic environments.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with teams across different geographic regions and ensure cohesive operations.
  • Experience working in a constantly transforming organization and managing change effectively.
  • Significant experience working with healthcare data from hospitals, care delivery, or electronic health records.
