Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fund Monitor to join our team in Central Manchester. As a Fund Monitor, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of building projects, ensuring that funds are allocated effectively and that spending aligns with budgets, timelines, and investor requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the financial performance of development projects
  • Conducting regular site visits to verify project milestones and assess construction progress
  • Documenting findings from site inspections and evaluating the financial health and risk profile of the project
  • Reviewing and analyzing project budgets and forecasts
  • Tracking project expenditure and income
  • Identifying and mitigating financial risks
  • Preparing regular financial reports and updates
  • Liaising with project managers, developers, and lenders
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements
  • Utilizing financial reporting software and construction management tools to analyze data and generate insights

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in construction finance, project monitoring, or fund management
  • Proficiency in financial reporting software and construction management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Excel)
  • Strong knowledge of cost control, financial analysis, and compliance standards within the construction sector
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The salary for this role is estimated to be between £50,000 - £65,000 + package, depending on experience and qualifications.
