About the Role

AWE plc is seeking a skilled Configuration Manager to join our team in the Reading area. As a Configuration Manager, you will be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team to deliver team and personal objectives safely and securely to meet our operational plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implementing AWE's Configuration Management strategy across the organisation.
  • Quorate membership of Change Boards (CB).
  • Drive quality into Change Request submissions.
  • Maintain a full understanding of Licence Condition 22 (LC22) and its component parts.
  • Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality.

Requirements
  • Experience in Configuration Management or relevant experience within a process change environment.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Management experience.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • CM2 or ITIL Qualifications would be beneficial.
