Repairs Manager - Social Housing

Type: Permanent

Our client, a leading Social Housing Repairs & Maintenance Contractor, is seeking a skilled Repairs Manager to join their team in Ilford.

The key responsibilities of this role include managing a team of Supervisors and trades to deliver a high-quality and commercially focused repairs service.

The successful candidate will lead the efficient management of reactive repairs and maintenance of properties, ensuring they meet required housing and quality standards, while maximizing resident satisfaction and contributing to business performance and financial strength.

Key performance indicators and work/quality standards must be met, and procedures for responding to complaints and enquiries must be developed and maintained.

Effective relationships with stakeholders, clients, contractors, and residents must be maintained, promoting and championing the client's values and standards.

Escalations of complaints, including disrepairs and Environmental Health Notices, must be dealt with, and a maintenance budget must be effectively managed, authorizing spends up to agreed levels while maximizing cost effectiveness.

Compliance with governance and adherence to statutory and regulatory provisions, including health & safety, must be ensured.
