Wet Fitter

Liberty is seeking a skilled Wet Fitter to join our team in Wrexham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive heating system maintenance and repair service to a range of domestic social housing properties.

• Undertake the servicing, repairing, and maintenance of domestic heating systems
• Complete works in accordance with specification and gas safe regulations
• Install and repair domestic heating systems, including replacements of radiators and valves
• Complete all relevant paperwork
• Ensure customer satisfaction and safety
• Participate in out-of-hours works, including overtime and call-outs
• Work to operational procedures, safe working practices, and H&S procedures
• Report all accidents, near-miss events, or potential hazards
• Undertake all other maintenance works within remit
• Work flexibly with a diverse range of customers

• Recognised formal training attaining the relevant craft qualification, NVQ Level 2/3, or equivalent/City and Guilds
• ACS Qualifications CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT
• LPG unvented oil desirable but not essential
• UNVENTED qualifications desirable but not essential
• Understanding of gas legislation
• Full driving license
• Understanding of Health and Safety and working to best practice
• Ability to manage own time and workload
• Experience of working with the public, demonstrating excellent customer service
