**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Support Care Specialist to join our team on a zero-hours contract. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with disabilities and a flexible approach to care, including night shifts and weekends.
**Estimated Salary:** £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality support to a disabled individual in their own home and in the community.
- Work collaboratively with our client to identify their needs and goals.
- Develop and maintain a person-centered plan to meet our client's physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
- Encourage and support our client to participate in community activities and events.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 6 months' experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
