Job Description:

We are seeking experienced HGV Class 2 drivers to work for a leading palletised freight delivery company based in Portsmouth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering palletised goods and will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods on the vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering palletised goods to customers and businesses safely and efficiently
  • Being accountable for the safe and timely delivery of goods on the vehicle
  • Being responsible for loading the vehicle and unloading at each drop
  • Performing daily checks on the vehicle and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness

Requirements:

  • Previous experience delivering palletised goods
  • Previous experience driving a curtain side truck with a tail lift
  • Hold a full up-to-date Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Hold a full UK driving licence with Category C (with at least 6 months' UK experience)
  • Have no more than 6 points on your licence (no DR, DD, or IN codes)
