Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and approve subcontractor RAMS and SOPS, ensuring compliance with AWS standards.
  • Undertake site audits to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Responsible for ensuring the delivery of legislative compliance and promoting continuous improvement of Safety and performance.
  • Support the Site Teams in identifying solutions and options to overcome issues, delivering Toolbox Talks, safety briefings, and wellbeing campaigns.
  • Encourage the reporting of near misses through proactive engagement with Operatives and Supervisors.
  • Review risk assessments and method statements, verifying temporary works are implemented safely.
  • Conduct investigations of incidents and accidents, identifying root cause analysis and recommendations to prevent re-occurrence.
  • Reporting incidents and assisting in the identification of safety training needs for site-based personnel.

Requirements:
  • A sound knowledge and ideally training in CDM 2015.
  • A Full UK Driving Licence.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction background.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of SCADA and telemetry elements, with experience working in a utility environment.
