We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a Technical Sales and Support Specialist.

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a technical background and excellent problem-solving skills. As a Technical Sales and Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for new incoming enquiries and will work closely with the field sales team to review customer requirements and determine the best next steps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Discuss technical requirements with customers to understand their needs
  • Work with the field sales team to review customer requirements and determine the best next steps
  • Manage your own projects, preparing quotations, technical documentation, and proposals for customers
  • Provide technical support to customers, answering their questions and resolving issues
  • Liaise with the company headquarters for further product information and technical support when required
  • Occasional travel to customer sites and industry events

Requirements

A technical qualification in an engineering or science discipline is required for this role, ideally NVQ level 5 or higher. Hands-on experience of working in an engineering, quality, or research environment is preferred. Previous knowledge of Micro-Epsilon products is not essential, as full training will be given.
