About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Air Quality Consultant to join our team at Hoare Lea. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality air quality assessments and reports for large and complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement air quality assessment strategies for projects
  • Conduct dispersion modelling using ADMS software packages
  • Write and review air quality assessment reports, including EIAs
  • Analyze data sets to assess project impacts
  • Support onsite air quality monitoring
  • Produce design advice documents for ventilation strategies and indoor air quality plans
  • Collaborate with project team members and local authorities to agree approaches and obtain necessary inputs
Requirements
  • 2.1 or above in a Degree in environmental science, geography, engineering, science, or maths, or a postgraduate qualification in environmental sciences, technology, engineering, or environmental policy
  • Membership of the Institute of Air Quality Management (IAQM)
  • Strong mathematical and quantitative analysis skills, with understanding of physical and chemical processes
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills
  • Experience in air quality consultancy, with strong knowledge of air quality monitoring techniques and strategies
  • Extensive experience of using air dispersion models, such as ADMS packages
