NFP People is seeking a dedicated Community Health Engagement Manager to lead the Nature Nurtures project and drive its success.

The successful candidate will have experience in working directly with vulnerable adults, preferably those with mental health issues, and be able to communicate effectively with them. They will also have excellent leadership skills, be able to motivate and engage teams, and ensure high-quality services are delivered.

The Community Health Engagement Manager will oversee the development and implementation of the project's strategy, goals, and objectives. This includes working alongside the full-time area Co-ordinators and Volunteer Co-ordinator to ensure that activities are supported and promoted in each area of Surrey Downs.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing the project's strategy and goals
  • Leading and motivating the team to deliver high-quality services
  • Ensuring effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders
  • Monitoring and evaluating the project's progress and impact
  • Reporting on key findings and recommendations to senior management

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in outdoor activities, such as gardening and walking, and be able to build and sustain strong working relationships with volunteers and clients.

A competitive salary of £14,740 per annum and part-time hours of 18 hours per week are on offer, along with a 12-month contract and access to pension and employee assistance programs.
