Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to fill a Locum Appointment for Training in Haematology position at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and Western General Hospital.

About the Role

This is a fixed-term, 40 hours per week post that offers comprehensive training in all aspects of clinical and laboratory haematology. The training programme follows closely the training curriculum for Higher Specialist Training in Haematology and includes compulsory half-day educational afternoons and site-specific weekly morphology and departmental educational meetings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the Southeast of Scotland Haematology training programme
  • Contribute to the development of clinical and laboratory haematology skills
  • Engage in educational activities, including compulsory half-day educational afternoons and site-specific weekly morphology and departmental educational meetings
