Northampton, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom Kingsthorpe CollegeNorthamptonshire Full time

We are seeking an inspirational teacher of science to join our welcoming science team at Kingsthorpe College in Northamptonshire. The successful candidate will be able to teach science across KS3, 4, and 5, with a preferred chemistry specialism but we would consider any specialism for the right candidate.

The science department achieves outstanding results year on year, which are above the national average. We have excellent exam results at both GCSE and A Level, with a good proportion of students going on to study science-based degrees at university.

At Kingsthorpe College, we believe that an understanding of science is essential for our pupils to engage with the modern world. Our students should be equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to make reasoned choices and judgements based on evidence.

In this role, you will play a key part in driving forward further developments in the curriculum, working collaboratively with our team of dedicated professionals.

Kingsthorpe College offers a competitive salary of £30,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a £2,000 recruitment bonus.
