Exciting Opportunity for a Trainee Machinist

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Trainee Machinist to join our team at FPR Group. As a Trainee Machinist, you will have the opportunity to work with a well-established machining company and learn from experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the operation of EDM machines and grinding equipment
  • Develop skills in machining operations, particularly in grinding
  • Work closely with an EDM expert to learn and master Fanuc Alpha 1iB Wire Eroder
  • Contribute to the production of high-quality products
Requirements:
  • Good general machine shop experience, including grinding and machining
  • Knowledge of Fanuc controls is desirable
  • Hardworking and open-minded individual with excellent communication skills
  • Able to commute to Havant
