This is a senior clinical position that focuses on delivering patient-centered clinical dental care for various priority groups, including domiciliary dental care and sedation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in delivering high-quality dental care to patients in priority groups.
  • Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with dental nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Contribute to the development of the PDS and the wider dental service.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) as a dentist.
  • Evidence of participation in postgraduate dental education.
  • Successful listing with the Health Board.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Driving license.
