Senior Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse Practitioner to join our Outpatient team at the London Bridge Hospital campus, rated "Outstanding" by the CQC.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of practice and care through effective monitoring of own and others clinical competence. They will also be required to manage the Outpatients Department on a day-to-day basis, considering the agreed budget and complying with workforce planning objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided
  • Manage the department's budget and resources
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC pin
  • Mentorship Training-Teaching and Assessing
  • ILS
  • Extensive experience working in a hospital setting
  • Experience/Evidence of managing the clinical area-Outpatients
  • Work within the latest NMC Code of Professional Conduct
  • Evidence of updating clinical skills/knowledge
  • Evidence of professional and personal development
  • Proficient in IT
  • Knowledge of Governance
