Nursery Director

At Acorn Childcare, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to take on the role of Nursery Manager.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage, promoting the benefits of outdoor play through the Nature Kindergarten, and safeguarding the wellbeing of all children and team members.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining highly professional working relationships with Local Authority departments, regulatory bodies, and other agencies
• Continually developing professional learning and sharing knowledge of developments within Early Years
• Leading, mentoring, and guiding team members to ensure consistent excellence in all areas of practice

Additionally, you will be responsible for:

• Managing budgets and resources to ensure efficient staff deployment and optimal use of facilities
• Promoting parent partnerships and close working relationships with the training centre upstairs

We are looking for a qualified and experienced individual who is passionate about providing high-quality early years care and education.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a senior or management role
• Relevant early years qualification (ideally level 6)
• Qualified Forest School Leader or experience with forest schools
• Proven track record of achieving exceptional standards of early years care and education
