Manpower UK Ltd is seeking an Asset Performance Manager to oversee maintenance and reliability efforts at their packaging plant in Belfast. This role offers a competitive salary of £42-45k, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

The successful candidate will have a relevant Engineering apprenticeship and HNC qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, with extensive experience in production settings, preferably FMCG high-speed automated equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management of maintenance activities across the site
  • Implementation of RCM principles to ensure critical assessments and failure modes are addressed
  • Review and improvement of maintenance strategy, adopting a proactive and condition-based approach
  • RCA on breakdowns and review in maintenance plans when necessary
  • Carrying out PPM's and using data analysis to deliver improvement projects
  • Working with operators, engineers, and team leaders in problem-solving, information sharing, and providing technical support
  • Encouraging world-class standards and 5S practices
  • Effective use of SAP maintenance management system
Requirements
  • Apprenticeship and HNC qualified Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  • Extensive maintenance experience in a production/FMCG setting
  • Ability to manage complex maintenance operations
  • Knowledge of problem-solving techniques like 5 why and RCA
  • Understanding of asset performance and process improvements
  • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge of industrial equipment/FMCG production
  • Experience with automated systems, inverters, and PLC's
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
