About the Mechanical Technician Role
We are seeking skilled Mechanical Technicians to join our Science and Technical Divisions. As a Mechanical Technician, you will work on the assembly, maintenance, and repair of our facility. Your key duties will include:
- Inspecting and testing components and subsystems
- Carrying out modifications and manufacture of components using manual and CNC machines
- Performing lifting operations and driving Tug and Trailer (when trained and registered)
- Logging information in databases, Excel, and Word documents
- Using hand tools and metrology equipment, such as torque wrenches, dial test indicators, and micrometers
