Job Title: Technical Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our team at GAP Group LTD. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maximising revenue opportunities from existing major account customers and winning new business.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have significant experience working in an area sales role within the Temporary Works/Trenching & Shoring/Hire industry. They will be a proven track record in exceeding sales targets and generating revenue growth by maximising opportunities from existing customers and winning new business.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels. They will be an effective negotiator and problem solver, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritise workload.

Key responsibilities will include delivering sales presentations to major account customers at a senior management level, attending depot/customer trade days to promote our product offering, and working with various stakeholders across the GAP Group network to ensure pro-active promotion of hire opportunities for Trenching & Shoring equipment within their existing customer base.

Requirements:
  • Significant experience working in an area sales role within the Temporary Works/Trenching & Shoring/Hire industry
  • Proven track record in exceeding sales targets and generating revenue growth
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders
  • Effective negotiator and problem solver with the ability to work under pressure
  • Proficient in MS Office packages including Excel and Word, and CRM systems
  • Driving Licence (Essential)
