Exciting Opportunity for a PE and Dance Teacher

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced PE and Dance Teacher to join our dynamic team at a leading secondary school in Northamptonshire. As a PE and Dance Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching students across Key Stage 3 and 4, inspiring and motivating them to achieve their best in both academic and practical settings.

The Role:
  • Teach PE and Dance to students, fostering a love for movement and fitness across all key stages.
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their best in both academic and practical settings.
  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons, ensuring all students are engaged and progressing.
  • Encourage a passion for fitness, health, and wellbeing.
  • Support extracurricular activities, including sports teams and dance performances.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification in PE/Dance.
  • Experience teaching PE and Dance at secondary level.
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Passionate about developing students' physical abilities and creative expression.
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
