Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our Outpatients team at Nuffield Health Plymouth Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist colleagues in various specialties, including Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Neurosurgery, Plastics Surgery, ENT, Cardiology, GP Services, Psychiatry, and Physiotherapy.
  • Provide individualized patient care and support, ensuring a positive experience for our patients.
  • Manage a range of activities and priorities, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics.
  • Assist consultants and nurses with procedures, such as dressings and wound care.
  • Conduct pre-assessment, both face-to-face and over the phone.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification (desirable).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
